Larnaca Internatinal Airport is located 4km southwest of Cyprus' Larnaca.  It is Cyprus' main gateway and the larger of the country's two commercial airports.   Larnaca Airport is used as a hub by passengers travelling between Europe and the Middle East.  Cyprus has risen as a popular tourist destination and in 2010 had over 5.16 million passengers.

A new terminal was recently constructed and the fancy new building was opened in 2008.  Cyprus is a nice airport to travel through.  The rise in tourists however has caused it to become a lot busier.  Don't risk waiting in a queue for a rental car.  Book ahead online through Larnaca Airport Car Hire.
