Miami International Airport is your entry point to the warm and exciting Miami or your final goodbye point to the fun and relaxing time you had in Miami.

Miami International or MIA is located in the Miami-Dade County, Florida, eight miles northwest of Downtown Miami. Miami has passenger flights throughout the Americas and Europe as well as the Canary islands. The airport is South Floridas main airport for international long hauls. What a greeting after long hours on a flight. Miami is the largest gateway between Latin America and the US. Hotel: Miami International Airport Hotel is the place to stay if you need a good sleep in a nice hotel. Don't dread a layover, delay or overnight stay. The hotel is located in Terminal E, so you don't even need to leave the hotel.

Transportation: The airport provides a hotel shuttle service as well as airport buses, metro movers, Metrorails and Tri-rails. But for a bit more freedom there is plenty of rental cars to choose from. Why not book one ahead so it's ready to drive when you land.  Find one at Miami Airport Car Rental. and find some deals at this blog. The car rentals are at the RCC which has access via the MIA mover.

Pets: MIA is next generational with it's Animal Relief areas. The areas are whimsically themed "doggy parks" for your beloved pets to have a run around in.

Spa Services: If you forgot to spruce up before you left for Miami, (or the weather was not so good and you want to make your friends think it was good when you return home) MIA has spa services which includes manicure, pedicure, massage and spray tan services.
