Welcome to Milwaukee, err Cleveland? Rooftop sign close to Milwaukee Airport

This map was taken via Google Sightseeing. Its near General Mitchell Airport near Milwaukee, however - the message might confuse folks flying into Milwaukee:

Does Vancouver have the most beautiful airport in the World?

I was reflecting recently of some some of the nicest airports I've been too - and I recall Vancouver's Airport being one of the loveliest. Stepping out the airplane - the airport instantly welcomes you to sounds and sights you would find in the Canadian wilderness. Unfortunately my experience was marred by overzealous security! Despite that, its still quite a lovely airport. Here is a video I've found of the Airport - let me know what you think!

If you are spending some time in British Columbia, conveniently book Vancouver Airport car rental directly at the airport!

Airport Waiting Games for those long delays and layovers

So you are at the Airport and some unpronounceable volcano erupted delaying your flight. If you are looking for some waiting games that don't involving electronic devices - here's a list that might be helpful (list inspired from Metafilter)

Cards, Cards, Cards - If you travel a lot, you know that cards are not only a handy time killer, but also a great way to socialise. Whether its Solitaire, Go Fish, Euchre to gambling games such as Poker or Twenty One - cards are great to have fun while waiting for a flight.
If you didn't bring any cards, there are still plenty of other options:

The Question Game -  This requires at least two players. This player begins  by asking a question (eg: "Would you like to play questions?"). The second player must responds to the question with another question (e.g. "How do you play that?"). Each player must quickly continue the conversation by using only questions—no hesitation, statements or pauses. Read more here

The Name Game - One player starts with a name eg, Patrick Swayze, the second player responds with another name whose first name starts with first letter of the previous last name, eg Sheryl Crow, then next player continues (eg. Candice Bergman).

Rock Paper Scissors - This game is so universal it doesn't really need a description. But what about variations (Cow, Lake, Bomb - which uses sounds effects).

Guessing Games - such as Botticelli and 20 questions. Get creative and add your own variations on rules such as passing the the answer on a turned over note to other player who pastes it on their foreword without looking at the answer (eg. from Inglorious Bastards).

Dollar Bill Poker - Works best with US currency - poker game played off of the serial number of US dollars bills.

Ghost - This is a word game where words are completed by other players. The goal is to continually be create a word, without having said word be made on one's turn. Variations include superghost and cheddar gorge

Lastly if you want a no-hassle car rental booked directly from the airport - check out our Airport Car Rental Site for great deals!

Here is some information about Reno-Tahoe International Airport from Wikipedia:
Reno-Tahoe International Airport (IATA: RNO) is a joint civil-military public airport located three nautical miles (6 km) southeast of the central business district of Reno, a city in Washoe County, Nevada, United States. The airport serves the Reno metropolitan area, western Nevada, and parts of eastern California and is the closest commercial airport to the vacation and ski resort destination of Lake Tahoe.

Reno Airport is the second busiest commercial airport in the state of Nevada after McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

The Nevada Air National Guard maintains the 152nd Airlift Wing to the southwest of the airport's main terminal.

The airport used to be the hub of Reno Air, a now-defunct medium sized airline that had offered non-stop MD-80 and MD-90 service to many cities, until Reno Air was bought and taken over by American Airlines and eventually completely disposed of in 2001. Reno Air's first flight was on July 1, 1992, and its last flight was on August 30, 1999.

The passenger terminal is named after the late US Senator Howard Cannon. The main lobby of the terminal contains an exhibit featuring the bust of Nevada State Senator (and Nevada State Senate Majority Leader) William J. "Bill" Raggio. Raggio is described in the exhibit as being "The Father of the Airport Authority."

Public transportation to and from the airport is provided by RTC Ride bus #19.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport is ranked at the 64th busiest commerical airport in the nation and in the fall of 2010 will open a new 200ft ATCT replacing the old one of more than 50 years
